The short version

What the app stores, and where

The app saves the following on your device so you can keep playing:

This information stays on your device. If you delete the app, it's deleted too.

Information you choose to share

Season logs. The "Season logs" button on the title screen exports your season logs as text through the share sheet, so you can, say, email them to us while testing. They only go somewhere if you send them, and you pick where. A log has game data and your castaway's name in it. It doesn't include your contact details or anything that identifies your device.

Recap cards. You can share images of your season. They go wherever you choose through the share sheet.

Contacting us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write, and use it only to reply.

Purchases

Apple handles purchases through the App Store, and we never see your payment details.

This website

lastflame.app doesn't use cookies, analytics or trackers. It's hosted by Cloudflare, which processes basic request data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site. Its fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google's servers when you visit.

Analytics and crash reports (not in the app today)

We may later add optional, anonymous gameplay analytics to help balance the game, and crash reporting so we can fix problems. Before either is switched on, we'll update this policy and the App Store privacy label and name the service we use. Analytics will only run if you agree to it in the app, you can change your mind in settings, and none of it will be used for advertising or tracking.

Children

Lastflame isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone. Because the app keeps its data on the device, we don't hold any children's data.

Your choices and rights

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date above. For bigger changes, like turning on analytics, we'll also tell you in the app.
